A fire in Algeria has killed 42 people. Among the dead are 25 military personnel. They were involved in firefighting. Residential houses were burned and the forest was destroyed.
Forest fires are raging in two regions east of the Algerian capital. Dozens of disaster centers in the country are battling in 16 provinces. It is thought that the fires were deliberately created.
